Ada Yacht Construction Department was established in 1981 (formerly known as Clasship Yachting) along with the construction of "BORA BORA 20" named boat built in 1981 in the Golden Horn. Yacht and boat construction firstly initiated at Proteksan Shipyard located in Sutluce, Istanbul and has been still continued at two shipyards with over 70 employees. For more than 30 years, Ada Yacht has been a leading yacht and boat construction company on the central Bay of Tuzla, Istanbul. In our shipyards, an around-the-clock workforce put muscle behind our promise of fast, reliable yacht construction. In one of shipyards, tug boats and trawlers and in other shipyard steel or complete aluminum yachts are constructed.     The yacht construction industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the global industry with an expected growth rate of 43% from the year 2003 to the year 2015. These forecasts are will result in an average of some thousands mega yachts by 2010.
