From which country was TCG Anadolu purchased?
Anadolu L-400 is Turkey's first ship to enter the amphibious assault ship class in terms of equipment. The design of the ship was inspired by the design of the ship named Juan Carlos, which was in the inventory of the Spanish navy. TCG Anadolu is a project inspired by the LHD-400. In the project received from Spain, Türkiye made some improvements in line with its own wishes. For example, it was ensured that the National Altay Tank, with a displacement of approximately 70 tons, could be placed inside the ship and performed the necessary maneuvers in this area.

Who made TCG Anadolu?
The production of the TCG Anadolu ship is carried out in Tuzla, Istanbul, in partnership with Navantia, a military shipbuilding company belonging to the Spanish state, and Sedef Shipyard consortium from Turkey.
