World-famous Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s ultra-luxury yacht Solaris arrived in Muğla on the İnceburun coast from the Datça district in the morning hours after entering Turkish territorial waters.
The luxury yacht MY Solaris reached the tourist island of Kara Ada, three miles from Bodrum this afternoon.
The very slow yacht was seen to stop for a while 4 miles from Bodrum, wait for about 45 minutes, and then set off from the Bodrum coast towards Turgutreis.
UKRAINE PROTEST
Roman Abramovic's ultra-luxury yacht Solaris in Bodrum was faced with a protest by a group of 11 Ukrainians who came by boat while trying to dock at the Bodrum Mantarburnu pier in the Kumbahçe neighborhood.
The group, carrying Ukrainian flags with the words "No to War" in their hands, positioned themselves between Abramovich's yacht and the pier and tried to prevent the yacht from docking.
THEY WERE BLOCKED
After the protest, which lasted about 20 minutes, the Ukrainian group was stopped by Coast Guard teams that arrived in the area. The protesters were then taken to the Coast Guard Command in Bodrum Harbour.
Slava Madonic, who claimed to be a friend of the detained group, said, "Our friends exercised their natural right to protest. We urgently want the war to end and peace to come to our country."
HE WAS ON THE SANCTION LIST
Abramovich is among the oligarch Russian billionaires blacklisted by the EU last week. EU governments have taken steps to seize the yachts and other luxury goods of dozens of blacklisted Russian billionaires. Governments continue their efforts to isolate Russian President Vladimir Putin and his allies after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin claims to have conducted a "military special operation" against Ukraine.

The 'Eclipse', which is considered one of the world's largest yachts owned by the owner of Chelsea Football Club, the British government, and Russian businessman Roman Abramovich, arrived in Marmaris yesterday morning from the Greek island of Rhodes. With a current value of 1.5 billion dollars, Eclipse currently holds the title of
the world's second most expensive yacht.
Abramovic's guards have taken extensive security measures in and around the mega yacht Eclipse, which is anchored at the large pier of the Marmaris port and has three swimming pools, private cinemas, swimming and water sports equipment and two marine mini submarines.
